The Samsung S90D is the 2024 predecessor model. While a new "S90F" model has launched for 2025, it comes at more than double the cost. The S90D is built with Samsung's proprietary quantum dot (QD) OLED panel. QD OLED technology delivers greater brightness than conventional OLED screens while preserving OLED's signature color accuracy, wide gamut, and expansive viewing angles.
