BrownDust2 Drops a New Update Onsen Training Featuring a New Story

BrownDust2 Heats Up with the Onsen Training Update!

Neowiz and Gamfs N have released the latest content update for BrownDust2, "Onsen Training," adding a fiery new adventure to the game. This update, following the game's 1.5-year anniversary celebration in December, plunges players into a Japanese winter hot spring setting filled with swordplay, unique challenges, and a dash of monkey mischief.

Onsen Training: A Hot Spring Adventure

The update introduces three new characters: Ventana (the main protagonist, available via pickup draw), Liberta (also available via pickup draw), and Blade (story-exclusive). The event unfolds within the same universe as Character Pack 1: Jayden’s Gate, offering 30 battles across 15 normal and 15 challenge modes.

Ventana, the Kendo Club captain, seeks to regain her honor after a defeat. Her training at a snowy mountain hot spring takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of mischievous monkeys. Rescued by the legendary Blade, who initially refuses to train her, Ventana enlists the help of Liberta, the hot spring manager, to secure Blade's tutelage.

New Mini-Game and Challenges

"Onsen Tile Tactics," a time-limited tile-clearing mini-game, adds another layer of fun. The event story is divided into phases: Legendary Graduate (week one), and Beyond Legend (week three). Players will face returning and new bosses, including the Fiend Hunter, Giant Rou (week one), and the formidable Snowy Mountain Tyrant (week three), a colossal monkey whose strength increases when targeting enemies with DoT effects. A brand-new Guild Raid boss, Rucersingha, the Ruler of the Void, also makes its debut, demanding strategic chain stacks to defeat.

New gear and costumes are also available. The Onsen Practitioner Ventana costume is available until January 30th, followed by the Onsen Manager Liberta costume until February 13th.
