Pokémon GO’s Festival of Colors is back in 2025, bringing a wave of vibrant Pokémon and exciting in-game bonuses from March 13th to March 17th. Trainers across the globe are in for a colorful adventure—read on to learn all the details.
Celebrate the Festival of Colors with Pokémon GO
As you walk by PokéStops during the event, get ready for a festive surprise: Lure Modules will be active for three full hours, turning your favorite spots into extended Pokémon hot zones.
If you're on the hunt for Bruxish, now’s your chance—activate some Incense to see this flashy fish appear more frequently. Standard Incense lasts two hours (excluding Daily Adventure Incense), giving you extra time to catch ‘em all. Plus, take daily snapshots for a special photo session with a surprise guest: Shiny Smeargle might just photobomb your pictures!
Flabébé returns in stunning regional color variations. Red Flower Flabébé can be found in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while Blue Flower Flabébé blooms in the Asia-Pacific region. Yellow Flower Flabébé dances through the Americas, and White and Orange Flower Flabébé may appear anywhere in the world.
Alongside these floral friends, Drowzee, Magikarp, Natu, Aipom, Meditite, and Dwebble will be appearing more often in the wild.
Mega Raids also get a splash of color with Mega Swampert making its appearance during the festival. Additionally, Field Research tasks offer exclusive event rewards, including Stardust and encounters with featured Pokémon.
Special Bonuses for Holi Players
This year's Festival of Colors coincides with Holi, India’s iconic Festival of Colors, and Pokémon GO honors the occasion with exclusive content for Indian Trainers. Participate in limited-time Timed Research, encounter one-star raids featuring Pikachu wearing a festive kurta, and earn bonus Candy when catching Pokémon in raids.
Make sure to check out Pokémon GO on the Google Play Store to join in on the festivities.
