Burglars Return to The Sims 4

Ten years of peaceful Sims life comes to an end! Burglars are back in The Sims 4, ready to test your security systems.

The long-awaited update (though not universally welcomed!) has been announced by the developers. Just like in previous games, a strategically placed alarm system is your first line of defense. Trigger the alarm, and the police will swiftly arrive to apprehend the culprit. For extra security, skilled Sims can upgrade the alarm system for improved reliability and automatic police alerts. If you're caught off guard without an alarm, you can always try calling the police yourself (fingers crossed they arrive on time!), or, if you're feeling bold, attempt to befriend the burglar.

For those with expansion packs, more creative (and arguably more fun) solutions exist. Unleash your furry friends, summon the power of spellcasters, vampires, or werewolves, or even freeze the burglar solid with a special ray! These options, however, require the relevant expansions.

The good news? The burglar update is available now, and it's completely free!
