Call of Duty Mobile will celebrate its 6th anniversary with Season 11 featuring DMZ Recon

Call of Duty: Mobile has been teasing this moment for an entire month with hints at the upcoming DMZ mode, much like a late-season plot twist. Now, Season 11 officially confirms its arrival. The 6th Anniversary update drops next week, marking what is likely the most significant patch before the game resets in 2026.

DMZ: Recon takes center stage as a proper extraction experience rather than just a minor side experiment. Players deploy into three-person squads to sweep through mixed PvE and PvP zones, loot high-value items, and fight for survival long enough to extract successfully.

The mode features two distinct maps: the expansive Serpent Island and the intense Building 21, each offering unique pacing depending on whether you prefer open space or chaotic action. Classic DMZ staples are included, such as contracts, a black market for premium gear, faction missions, and numerous new weapon camos earned by completing objectives.

Coinciding with the anniversary season is a major collaboration with Street Fighter. Rather than simply adding themed skins to the store, CODM introduces limited-time modes across Multiplayer and Battle Royale where players can utilize authentic Street Fighter abilities.

Matches will feature signature moves like Hadokens, Shoryukens, Spiral Arrows, and Spinning Bird Kicks, creating one of the most fun and entertaining crossovers in recent shooter history.

Season 11 also delivers anniversary rewards, holiday-themed cosmetics, and the standard Battle Pass progression. The free track awards the SO-14 Marksman Rifle and the Wheelson-HS Scorestreak, while the premium tier focuses on festive skins and blueprints, including a notably detailed Santa-style Ajax skin.
