How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO

The Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025) marked the debut of Fidough and Dachsbun. Fidough appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. It was also available through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.

Players can also obtain Fidough (and subsequently Dachsbun) through trading with other Trainers. Online Pokémon GO communities like Reddit or Discord are good places to find trading partners.

Dachsbun wasn't available as a wild spawn. Trainers needed to either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 candies. Given Dachsbun's potential in battles, choosing a Fidough with high stats before evolution is recommended.

Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?

No, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun weren't released during the Dual Destiny season. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will have to wait for a future opportunity.
