Crashlands 2 just dropped a major update today—version 1.1. Butterscotch Shenanigans rolled it out with new challenges and plenty of fan-favorite features players of the original Crashlands have been asking for.
What’s New in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Legend Mode is now live, offering tougher challenges than Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope move faster, hit harder, and have significantly more HP, while Flux Dabes is even more fragile than before.
There are no additional achievements for completing it, but you’ll automatically unlock all lower-difficulty achievements as a reward.
On the flip side, Explorer Mode has been added for players who prefer gathering mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing—without the threat of losing their face.
Combat is dramatically reduced, letting you immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky charm of Crashlands 2’s bizarre cast.
The biggest addition? The Compendium is back. The devs clearly listened to post-launch feedback. The Compendium now tracks everything Flux discovers—including how many pets, recipes, and items remain to be collected.
Pets have also received a boost
With Crashlands 2 Update 1.1, pets now actively assist in combat. Each one has a unique ability you can activate every 20 seconds.
Gear crafting now offers more variety, with random bonus stats appearing when you craft armor. New gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have also been added.
Quality-of-life improvements are everywhere in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1. You can now build on far more terrain types, set your home teleporter’s location, and adjust nighttime darkness.
Get Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. FYI, it launched on April 10th—this patch confirms the devs are listening to player feedback.
