While DC has released several stories centered around Hush since the original series concluded, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first time the original creative team has reunited for a sequel. The team includes writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings. Building on the narrative from the recent epilogue in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 introduces a new mystery. Batman uncovers evidence that his childhood friend Tommy Elliot, aka Hush, survived their last confrontation and is now manipulating the Dark Knight's allies and enemies.
Hush 2 will be featured in Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, set to hit stores on March 26. Following this, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue, introducing a fresh costume and a new era for the Dark Knight, crafted by writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
