Delta Force Devs Discuss the Creation of Its New Campaign, Black Hawk Down

by Emily Mar 06,2025

Delta Force's new co-op campaign, "Black Hawk Down," drops players into the intense streets of Mogadishu. Inspired by the iconic film and the 2003 game, this Unreal Engine 5 remake offers unparalleled immersion and a significant challenge.

While technically solo-playable, the developers strongly suggest a four-player squad utilizing diverse character classes for optimal teamwork. The difficulty remains consistent regardless of player count; expect no reduction in enemy numbers or firepower. The campaign unfolds across seven chapters.

This article provides further details. To mark the launch, we interviewed studio head Leo Yao and game director Shadow Guo, discussing their motivations behind this free-to-play reboot of a classic campaign and more.
