Destiny Child Revives as Idle RPG Soon!

Destiny Child is making a triumphant return to the gaming scene. Originally launched in 2016, the game was transitioned into a 'memorial' version in September 2023. Now, Com2uS has stepped in, taking over from ShiftUp to breathe new life into this beloved title.

Is it Going to be the Same Game?

Com2uS has entered into an agreement with ShiftUp to craft a **brand new** Destiny Child game. This time, it will be an idle RPG, a shift from the original gameplay. Tiki Taka Studio, a subsidiary of Com2uS known for developing titles like Arcana Tactics, a tactical RPG, will spearhead this exciting project.

The new version of Destiny Child aims to reimagine the game, preserving the emotional essence and stunning 2D character designs of the original while introducing fresh mechanics to enhance the gaming experience.

Have You Tried Out the Memorial?

When Destiny Child first hit the market, it captured hearts with its charming characters and engaging real-time battles. After nearly seven years, the game reached its end, but ShiftUp didn't let it fade away completely. They introduced a Memorial version of the app, allowing fans to relive the magic.

While the Memorial version isn't the full game, it offers a nostalgic journey through the game's beautiful character illustrations, allowing players to reminisce about their Childs. Access to this version is exclusive to those who played before the shutdown, requiring a verification code linked to prior game data.

This memorial serves as a tribute to the Childs and their classes, keeping them alive in memory, even if they can't be battled with anymore. If you're one of the lucky ones with access, take a moment to launch it and soak in the artistry. You can find it on the Google Play Store until the new game makes its debut.

And that concludes our update on Destiny Child's revival. Don't forget to check out our other articles, including the latest on Hearthstone’s expansion, The Great Dark Beyond, which brings back the Burning Legion.
