Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, has just launched, marking the game's biggest season yet. This season introduces a host of new features that transform the gameplay experience, inviting players to construct their very own floating empire in the sky.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that players will manage. Here, you'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and allocate them to workers across five distinct professions, unlocking new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards. This season uniquely blends ARPG combat with strategy simulation elements.

A significant character transformation sees Thea, previously known as the divine channeler, evolve into the Blasphemer. Now, instead of granting blessings, she spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that escalates over time.

The Deep Space region has undergone a major update, introducing five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item type called Probes has been added. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy a unique slot, enhancing both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.

The endgame experience is enriched with new Legendary Stages. These stages, though rare, are highly rewarding and offer loot setups that can significantly alter your gameplay strategy.

Certain zones are breaking the mold, like the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies but filled with Mystery Chests ripe for exploration. On the other hand, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of non-aggressive goblins; defeating them could summon a secret boss.

The Supreme Showdown brings a novel mechanic called Golden Gaze, which both players and bosses can utilize. A well-timed strike using this feature can transform enemies into treasure instantly.
