Elden Ring's Nightreign Network Test Opens for Signup

Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th (PS5 & Xbox Series X/S Only)

The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This initial beta, however, will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. The full game is slated for release in 2025.

This limited-time beta test will allow a select number of players to experience Elden Ring Nightreign before launch. The exact number of participants hasn't been disclosed.

How to Register for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test:

1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
2. Complete the registration process, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
3. Await a confirmation email (expected no later than February 2025).
4. Participate in the network test in February 2025. Specific dates will be announced soon.

Platform Limitations and Other Details:

The exclusion of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms from this initial test is notable. Furthermore, FromSoftware has confirmed no cross-platform play will be available in the final game, nor in the beta. Progress made during the network test is not expected to carry over to the full release. Future beta tests haven't been ruled out.

Elden Ring Nightreign will feature either solo play or three-player parties only; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will impose further gameplay limitations remains to be seen.
