Escape Academy is the Epic Games Store's free offering for January 16th, 2025. This escape-room style puzzle game, developed by Coin Crew Games, is the fourth free title offered by EGS in 2025 and boasts the highest OpenCritic score of any EGS freebie so far this year.

Players can claim Escape Academy from January 16th to 23rd. This week-long availability marks the first time the game, initially released in July 2022, has been offered for a full week on the EGS storefront. This is particularly timely for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as the game is set to leave the service on January 15th. While previously offered as a free mystery game on EGS on January 1st, 2024, this is its first full-week free promotion.
