Tin Man Games has enriched the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection with the addition of "Eye of the Dragon," now available on all digital platforms, including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of old-school dungeon crawls, this game offers a nostalgic journey back to the classics.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut!
Marking its first digital release since 2010, "Eye of the Dragon" was penned by Ian Livingstone, co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series. Originally published in 2005 during the Wizard Books reboot, this adventure has roots tracing back to a mini-adventure in "Dicing with Dragons." With its inclusion in Fighting Fantasy Classics, "Eye of the Dragon" becomes the 19th title in the library.
In "Eye of the Dragon," you find yourself navigating the monster-filled maze beneath Darkwood Forest, on a quest to uncover the Golden Dragon, the most prized treasure in Allansia. Your adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a life-altering offer—drink a questionable potion that could either propel you into the adventure or end your journey prematurely.
The dungeon is brimming with challenges and rewards, from deadly traps and magical artefacts to scattered jewels and creatures eager to snap at you. Along the way, you'll encounter an imprisoned dwarf who might prove to be more than just another non-player character.
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version with player-friendly features. Enjoy adjustable difficulty settings and a Free Read mode for those who wish to explore without engaging in combat. The auto-mapping feature ensures you won't lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet automatically track your stats and inventory.
"Eye of the Dragon" joins other classics in the series such as "The Warlock of Firetop Mountain," "Deathtrap Dungeon," "Assassins of Allansia," "The Port of Peril," and more, including "Bloodbones," "Forest of Doom," "House of Hell," and "Trial of Champions."
