While retaining her iconic moveset, Mai's Street Fighter 6 iteration features unique adjustments, including motion inputs replacing charge attacks. She also gains the ability to accumulate "Flame Stacks" for enhanced move capabilities.

Mai's storyline in Street Fighter 6 centers around her search for Terry Bogard's brother, Andy, leading to encounters with various characters, including Juri, who test her skills.
