Freedom Wars Remastered throws Sinners into intense battles against massive Abductors. These towering foes demand strategic combat, making every tool in your arsenal crucial for survival. The Flare Knife is a particularly useful item, offering a unique approach to defeating these powerful enemies. This guide details how to obtain and effectively utilize the Flare Knife.

How To Get Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered

Acquire the Flare Knife early in the game by reaching Level 003 Code Clearance. Once achieved, visit Zakka in The Warren. Zakka's inventory includes the Flare Knife, purchasable for 3,000 Entitlement Points.

Equipping the Flare Knife is straightforward. Navigate to the Loadout menu within the Personal Responsibility Portal. Select an available Combat Item slot. The Flare Knife will appear in your list if purchased, ready for equipping before your next Operation.

How To Use Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Flare Knife, a reusable combat tool, excels at severing Abductor parts. This is invaluable for players favoring Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons, allowing them to sever limbs without relying on Light Melee weapons. However, remember it's a single-use item per Operation; repurchase is necessary for subsequent engagements.

To use it, lock onto a severable Abductor part and utilize your Thorn to grapple towards it. With the Flare Knife equipped, a severing option will appear, initiating a quick-time event (QTE). Successfully depleting the QTE bar severs the targeted part. Be aware that Abductors may attempt to interrupt the process by leaping or crashing.

Cooperative online play offers a significant advantage. Snare the Abductor repeatedly with your teammates to create easier severing opportunities.
