Genshin Impact 5.5 Adds Android Controller Support

Good news for all you Android gamers playing *Genshin Impact*—controller support is finally on its way! After a long wait, especially since iOS users enjoyed this feature since 2021, Android players will soon be able to dive into the enchanting world of Teyvat with the precision of a controller. Get ready, because Version 5.5 is set to bring this highly anticipated update.

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Starting March 26th, 2025, you can connect your Android device to a controller and explore *Genshin Impact* without relying on the touchscreen. The update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all these controllers require Bluetooth connectivity.

But that's not all—Version 5.5 is packed with other quality-of-life improvements. One of the standout features is cross-scene quest tracking, allowing you to seamlessly follow quests across different areas. Just open the map and teleport directly to your desired destination, making your adventure smoother than ever.

New players will benefit from updated boss guides, which will help you understand enemy mechanics better. Additionally, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set for optimizations. While the full details will be unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th, you can stay ahead by checking out the Developer’s Discussion for the month of March.
