Genshin Impact enthusiasts, get ready for an exhilarating new chapter with the release of Version 5.5, "Day of the Flame's Return," set to launch on March 26th. This update promises to intensify the Natlan region with a host of new features and content that will enrich both the narrative and gameplay.

One of the most anticipated additions in this update is the introduction of controller support for Android players, marking a significant enhancement in the gaming experience. Curious about which controllers will be compatible? You can find all the details here.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

Prepare to delve deep into the southwestern expanses of Natlan, where you'll encounter a new tribe, explore a colossal volcano, and meet fresh characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan harbors ancient secrets and a long-dormant sacred city, setting the stage for an adventure filled with mystery and excitement.

As you navigate the magma-filled landscapes, your mission will be to unravel the enigma of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the mystery surrounding the Little One. Along your journey, you'll interact with the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values physical strength and incorporates it into their daily life.

Two new characters will join the Genshin Impact universe in Version 5.5: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique support role by restoring Phlogiston after consuming food, enhancing your team's capabilities outside of combat.

Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan’s six heroes, offers a blend of offensive and supportive skills. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Iansan gains the Warming Up effect, enabling her to provide continuous healing to the team.

In the first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes, you'll have the chance to pull for Varesa and Iansan, along with reruns of Xianyun, Xilonen, and Venti. Check out the trailer below to get a glimpse of what's in store.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

During your adventures, you'll meet Mavuika, Ifa, and other allies from Natlan, as you work together to heal a sick Saurian. Engage in the fun mini-game "Saurian Treasure Seeker," guiding baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. By participating in this event, you'll have the opportunity to invite Ororon to your team at no cost.

For those seeking a challenge, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this expansive update as soon as it's released.
