Hazelight's Split Fiction: First Game with Crossplay Support

Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its innovative approach to cooperative gameplay. Their unique feature, where only one player needs to purchase the game yet two can enjoy playing together, remains a rare gem in the market. This has allowed Hazelight to carve a distinctive niche for itself. The only notable limitation in their past titles was the absence of crossplay—a feature that naturally complements their cooperative gaming model.

Excitingly, Hazelight's upcoming game, Split Fiction, will introduce crossplay, a feature now officially confirmed by the developers. The beloved Friend's Pass system will return, meaning that only one copy of the game is necessary for two players to dive into the experience, although both will need an EA account to play.

In a move to engage players even before the full release, Hazelight has also announced a demo version of Split Fiction. This demo not only gives potential players a taste of what to expect but also allows them to carry over their progress to the full game upon purchase.

Split Fiction is set to transport players through a diverse range of settings, yet its heart lies in exploring simple yet profound human relationships. Mark your calendars for the game's launch on March 6, when it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
