How to Get Banuk Werak Outfits in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
Banuk Werak Runner
Reach the Frozen Wilds expansion area (defeat the new machine if necessary; adjust difficulty or upgrade gear if needed). Locate a Bluegleam Merchant (blue merchant icon) and purchase the Banuk Werak Runner outfit.
Resource | Normal Cost | Ultra Hard Cost |
---|---|---|
Metal Shards | 1000 | 5000 |
Desert Glass | 10 | 20 |
Slagshine Glass | 10 | 20 |
Banuk Werak Chieftain & Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept
For the superior Banuk Werak Chieftain outfit, complete the "For the Werak" quest (the third main quest in Frozen Wilds DLC). This can be challenging; consider lowering the difficulty to Story mode if needed. The Adept version is acquired the same way, but only in New Game Plus.
You don't need to complete all Frozen Wilds content after obtaining the second outfit.
What to Do to Get the Effects of Two Outfits

This combines your chosen outfit's stats with the auto-healing perk of the Banuk Werak outfits. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer significantly faster healing than the Runner. If using the Shield Weaver outfit, this combination makes you nearly invincible.
