Unlocking the Puzzle:
Following the Sacred Wounds puzzle, Indy uses the scroll from the Giant's tomb to locate the Fountain of Confession. Use the in-game map to navigate to the courtyard and find the stairs leading to the puzzle's starting point.
Phase 1: The Dragon Statues:
- Locate the chest near the fountain's construction area. It contains the key to the storage room.
- Use Indy's whip to rappel to the rooftop and swing to the fountain.
- Swing to the second dragon statue and use its claw to activate a lever. Rotate the statue to face the opposite dragon.
- Repeat for the other dragon, noting its missing claw.
- The missing claw is on the scaffolding. Rappel down; a cutscene with Gina Lombardi ensues.
- Retrieve the claw, climb back, and attach it. Rotate both dragons to face each other. This rotates the fountain statue.
Phase 2: The Wall Puzzles:
- Use Indy's whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a blocked gate and levers.
- Indy and Gina activate the lever, revealing the first puzzle (a baptism scene).
- Position the male statue under the water bucket, activate the water mechanism, and "baptize" the smaller statue.
- Reactivate the lever for the second puzzle (moving stone layers).
- Use the handles to guide the angel figure to the right side of the wall.
- Push the remaining central statue through the gate. This unlocks a spiral stairway.
