MachineGames' acclaimed action-adventure title debuted on Xbox Series X|S and PC in December 2024, with a spring 2025 PS5 launch window. This suggests a release within the next few months.

While Microsoft remained silent on the PS5 release date during its recent Xbox Developer Direct showcase, focusing instead on other titles, an announcement seems likely soon.

Since its initial Xbox launch, MachineGames has consistently updated the game, recently addressing bugs and adding support for Nvidia DLSS 4 features (Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction) on PC. The PS5 version will include all these updates.

Boosted by its Game Pass launch, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already reached 4 million players—a number poised to significantly increase with the PS5 release.

Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones himself, praised Troy Baker's performance as the beloved character, stating in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Baker's portrayal proves "you don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul." Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's work, emphasizing the talent and creative vision behind the performance. He stated, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
