Following weeks of player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally broken their silence. If you play the game, you're well aware of the rocky rollout for Version 1.5. It felt incomplete, and the team has now acknowledged they weren't fully prepared for its launch. The consequence? A delay for Infinity Nikki's Version 1.6.
When Is the Update Releasing?
Version 1.5 launched on April 28th, while Version 1.6 was initially slated for June 4th. Its release has now been officially pushed back to June 12th. Until then, the current Bubble Season will be extended.
This means all its associated events, including Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties?, will remain active until June 12th. Stores such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will also stay open. Weekly tasks like Starlit Pursuit, originally planned for May 20th, have been postponed to Version 1.6 as well.
The developers have apologized, citing challenges with performance optimization across various platforms, including PlayStation. They are currently refining core gameplay systems and have assured players that postponed story content, such as Threads of Reunion, has not been canceled, merely rescheduled.
Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?
Recently, the game has been plagued by numerous bugs, broken quests, and co-op mode malfunctions. As a goodwill gesture, the team is offering compensation of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal daily from June 5th to June 12th. You must log in each day to claim these rewards.
Some in the community view this as a strategic move to improve engagement metrics following recent setbacks. Many players also expressed disappointment, noting that promotional banners for new outfits appeared almost immediately after the apology was issued.
