inZOI System Requirements Show the Price of Higher Quality Graphics

inZOI demands robust system specifications to ensure a smooth gaming experience, as Krafton has unveiled the game's system requirements and optimal settings. Dive into the details to understand inZOI's system requirements and the nuances between different hardware tiers.

inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game

RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has outlined that the game requires higher-end system specifications for players to enjoy the best possible experience. On March 12, 2025, they released the system requirements and optimal settings on their website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High.

At the minimum level, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 for graphics, paired with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This marks a significant jump from the system requirements of EA's Sims 4, which only needs an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justified these requirements by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, necessitating higher system specifications for optimal performance."

For the recommended settings, players need an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics and an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU. The highest settings demand an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 graphics card, along with an Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU.

This aligns with the high graphical fidelity seen in inZOI's trailers, showcasing the game's utilization of Unreal Engine 5. Although Krafton has plans to bring inZOI to PS5 and Xbox, as mentioned on their official Discord, the game may require further optimization for consoles given its demanding PC specifications.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton provided a video comparing the graphics for each specified system requirement tier. The video highlights differences in lighting, textures, and color quality, with the highest tier offering the most visually stunning experience.

Despite these options, inZOI might face challenges in reaching the broad player base enjoyed by competitors like The Sims 4 due to its high entry-level specs. However, Krafton remains optimistic, stating, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we are committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." They plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance and continue optimizing to lower system requirements without sacrificing quality.

inZOI is set to host a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on their official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will cover early access pricing, DLC, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan questions.

inZOI will launch in early access on Steam on March 28 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The full release date remains undisclosed. For the latest updates on inZOI, keep an eye on our dedicated page.
