Marvel has unveiled the first official trailer for Ironheart, the upcoming Disney+ series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In Ironheart, Dominique Thorne reprises her role as Riri Williams, the brilliant young engineer and armored hero introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). She’s joined by Anthony Ramos portraying Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The debut trailer offers a compelling glimpse into the limited series, highlighting Riri Williams’ evolution from a supporting character to a central figure in the MCU.
[ttpp] sees Riri stepping into her own as a superhero, navigating complex moral choices and intense action sequences. Her journey begins after being expelled from MIT, a turning point that sets her on a new path. In one pivotal moment, The Hood poses the question: “Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?” It's a clear setup for the ethical dilemmas she’ll face throughout the series.
The trailer showcases stunning visuals of Ironheart suiting up, soaring through the skies, and engaging in dynamic combat—most notably, a dramatic punch that sends a truck flying over her head. Although The Hood initially appears to be guiding Riri toward greatness, the narrative hints at deeper motives beneath his surface-level mentorship.
Produced by Ryan Coogler, Ironheart will launch with a three-episode premiere on June 24, starting at 6pm PT / 9pm ET exclusively on Disney+.
Riri describes her involvement in the events of Wakanda Forever as an “internship abroad,” suggesting this new chapter is where she truly begins to forge her legacy.
