How to Join the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta: Dates, What’s Included, & More

Get ready for Monster Hunter Wilds! A second open beta is coming before the Q1 2025 release, giving players a chance to experience the new additions. Here's what you need to know:

Beta Dates and Platforms:

The open beta will run in two phases:

• Phase 1: February 6th, 7 PM PT – February 9th, 6:59 PM PT
• Phase 2: February 13th, 7 PM PT – February 16th, 6:59 PM PT

That's a generous eight days of gameplay across all platforms: PS5, Xbox, and PC (Steam).

How to Participate:

No pre-registration is needed! Simply search for "Monster Hunter Wilds" on your respective digital storefront (PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam) closer to the start dates and download the beta.

New Content and Beta Rewards:

The highlight of this beta is the addition of a Gypceros hunt. All previously available beta content will also return.

Completing the beta unlocks these in-game rewards:

• Stuffed Felyne Teddy Pendant
• Raw Meat x10
• Shock Trap x3
• Pitfall Trap x3
• Tranq Bomb x10
• Large Barrel Bomb x3
