• Kaiju No. 8 The Game debuts its newest update
• Main Story Chapter 3 ramps up the action with fresh characters and plot twists
• Sagan Shinomiya, an original character, arrives in a new five-star variant

Kaiju No. 8 The Game, adapted from Naoya Matsumoto’s popular manga series, is launching a major new update. Beyond Main Story Chapter 3, the headline feature is undoubtedly the debut of a brand-new version for Sagan Shinomiya, an original character exclusive to the game.

The latest story chapter delivers thrilling action as Mina Ashiro faces her limits against newly introduced Dimensional Kaiju. Amidst this rising tension that could erupt at any moment, Sagan Shinomiya joins the Defense Force.

[Dimensionally Distorted Destiny] Sagan Shinomiya is unveiled as Kikoru Shinomiya’s non-blood-related older sister. She plays a pivotal role in Kaiju No. 8’s original narrative and wields an immense shield to protect her allies. Whether you are returning fans or newcomers, she promises to be an exciting addition to the world of Kaiju No. 8.

"When Sagan isn't on screen, everyone wonders: 'Where's Sagan?!'"

Sagan receives her own dedicated story arc that provides background for this original character. Even if you skip the backstory segments, she remains crucial to the latest chapter and arrives alongside the new five-star weapon, SH-Iuggnil.

It is fascinating how well-received original characters tend to be in anime-inspired titles. This highlights an interesting divide between Japanese and non-Japanese fans; the latter often prefer sticking with familiar favorites rather than exploring new perspectives.
