Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has just landed on Android, bringing a fresh twist to the classic KEMCO JRPG formula. This isn't your typical KEMCO game; it's a gritty, old-school dungeon crawler that dives deep into the turn-based RPG genre.
Seek the Truth of a Lost World
In Metro Quester, you take on the role of a scavenger, venturing into the depths of the underground to gather resources before your weekly food quota of 100 runs out. You have seven in-game days to meet this goal, pushing you to explore the monster-filled ruins of places like Otemachi and Ginza. Survival is key, as you can only level up once you return to a safe camp, provided you've made it back with enough loot.
Choose from 24 unique characters, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes. Your approach to combat is highly customizable, with combo skills, weapons, and strategies all in your hands. Be mindful of your action points, as you're limited to five per turn, and each ability can only be used once per round. Strategic planning is essential for success.
As you navigate the dungeon, it unfolds before you, revealing hidden food supplies, monster nests, keys to new areas, and potential campsites for establishing a new base.
Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android
The game's aesthetic is deliberately minimalistic, featuring a bleak, colorless environment that starkly contrasts with the vibrant appearance of your team. For a closer look, check out the trailer below.
Metro Quester also includes a NEW GAME+ mode, perfect for those who enjoy tackling tougher challenges after completing the main storyline.
Available now on the Google Play Store for $14.99, Metro Quester – Hack & Slash is exclusively for Android users and supports only English and Japanese languages. Note that the game does not support game controllers.
