You can attempt this recruitment at any stage, but heading to Madlantis first to retrieve the necessary item will streamline the process.
Upon docking at Madlantis, head towards the tent across from the Madlantis Golf Range, which hosts some of the most entertaining mini-games in *Pirate Yakuza*. Inside, you'll find a UFO Catcher Game with a blue plush known as Kraken-Chan, which Surfer Jay desires. Note that Kraken-Chan might not always be available as a prize. If that's the case, speak to the attendant under the tent and request a prize switch-out for the UFO game machine.
Winning Kraken-Chan from the claw machine can be challenging, much like real-life claw machines. Ensure you have enough cash before you start playing.
