In *Avowed*, treasure maps lead to exciting rewards, and the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map is one you're likely to encounter first. Here’s how to complete it and claim your prize.
Where to Get the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map in Avowed
When you arrive at the Living Lands and meet Garryck and possibly Ilora, you'll encounter your first group of merchants. Among them, Lynna sells the "Treasure Map – Intimidating Feline Codpiece" for 115. Purchase it to find the map in the Documents section of your Journal under Paradis.
The map's text reads, "My husband spent a fortune on this stelgaer codpiece to spice things up in the bedroom. Now he’s dead on account of a weak heart. I want nothing to do with that tasteless (though brutally effective) garment, so I leave it to the gods to find a worthy bearer." A unique piece of lore, indeed.
Where to Find the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map’s Treasure in Avowed
From the Gods’ Gate Beacon, located east of Paradis and north of the Southern Embrace, head out and skirt around the Yellowband Camp. This area can be challenging if you're under-leveled, so avoid it unless you're ready for a fight. Follow the path around the southern and eastern edges of the camp. At a fork in the road, take the right path.
You’ll find a boarded-up area here. Break the boards and open the chest on your left to uncover the treasure.
What the Intimidating Feline Codpiece Map Gives You
Inside the chest, you'll find: Stelgaer’s Pride + 2, Golden Scelling (6), Silver Fenning (8), Common Arquebus, Bear Claw, Pelt (2), and Softwood Branch (2).
The Stelgaer’s Pride armor, the main attraction, has the following stats:

What Builds Should Use the Stelgaer’s Pride Armor?
The Stelgaer’s Pride Armor is an excellent early-game choice, particularly for players focusing on physical builds. As a spellsword, I found it quite useful initially. Its unique stats and abilities make it a valuable asset for those looking to enhance their combat capabilities early in *Avowed*.
And that's how you complete the Intimidating Feline Codpiece map in *Avowed*.
