Lilith Games' military strategy MMO, Warpath, receives a major naval update, introducing a comprehensive Naval Force system with almost 100 meticulously detailed and realistic ships.
Warpath's Navy Update: Full Steam Ahead!
Take command of powerful vessels, including the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier for long-range air strikes, the stealthy Project 971 Submarine for surprise attacks, and the guided-missile-equipped Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyer for precise, devastating assaults. Each ship faithfully mirrors its real-world counterpart in combat capabilities.
The Naval Force is categorized into six distinct combat roles:
- Submarines: Masters of stealth, utilizing their Silent Running ability.
- Anti-Submarine Frigates: Swift hunters, specializing in eliminating submarines.
- Aircraft Carriers: Long-range dominance, launching powerful air strikes.
- Anti-Aircraft Destroyers: Protecting the skies and countering surface threats.
- Armored Destroyers: Slow but heavily armored, absorbing significant damage.
- Guided Missile Destroyers: Long-range specialists, ideal for targeting enemy bases.
Witness the impressive fleet in action:
Lilith Games has implemented strategic counterplay between ship types; submarines can ambush carriers, but risk detection by faster frigates. Naval battles are now more tactical, with adjustments to attack and defense values and the ability for ships to fire while moving.
