Get ready for more intrigue and mystery as Netflix's *Rise of the Golden Idol* introduces its first DLC, *The Sins of New Wells*, set to launch on mobile devices on March 4th. Alongside mobile, this exciting expansion will also be available on PC and consoles. The best part? If you're playing on mobile, it's completely free as part of Netflix Gaming.

What’s in Store?

*The Sins of New Wells* delves deeper into the realms of mystery, crime, and Lemurian magic. The setting is the troubled city of New Wells, a place where problems abound. Enter homicide detective Roy Samson, who has been transferred to the 9th District—a notorious area where justice seems to be a foreign concept.

In this corrupt environment where crime is a way of life, Roy teams up with his new partner, Cliff Savea, to investigate a series of brutal crimes. As they dig deeper, they uncover something far more sinister lurking beneath the surface.

This DLC introduces four gripping new cases: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case is a complex web of crime, deception, and mystery that you must untangle. You'll need to interrogate largely dishonest characters and solve intricate puzzles to piece together the truth. Be warned: a sense of madness pervades New Wells.

Are You a Netflix Subscriber?

If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can dive into *The Sins of New Wells* on your mobile device starting at 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on launch day. Color Gray Games has confirmed that this is just the beginning, with plans for at least four more DLCs set to release in 2025.

*Rise of the Golden Idol* has already established itself as a premier modern detective game. As a Netflix subscriber, you can enjoy the game for free on the Google Play Store.

Before you go, don't miss our coverage of *Good Coffee, Great Coffee*, featuring realistic coffee-making challenges.
