In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, the reason for the game's closure remains unstated. The game's underperformance likely contributed to this decision. Launched in November 2023, Dynasty Warriors M's lifespan was relatively short.

Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of Musou action and strategic gameplay. The story mode recreated historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
