Pokémon GO is setting the stage for an epic journey to the global GO Fest 2025 with a series of exciting events. Kicking things off, players can look forward to three new themed events and the return of some legendary giants, including Gigantamax Pokémon.
What Are the Events in Pokémon GO Global GO Fest 2025?
The first event, Serene Retreat, is scheduled from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. During this event, trainers will have the chance to encounter Pokémon like Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. Keep an eye out for the possibility of encountering shiny versions of Snorlax and Chimecho.
Following Serene Retreat, Gigantamax Rillaboom will make its first-ever appearance in Pokémon GO through six-star Max Battles, available from May 31st to June 1st, 2025. This is a must-see for any Pokémon GO enthusiast.
The centerpiece of the festivities, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, will take place on June 28th and 29th. This global celebration is free to join from anywhere in the world and promises to bring millions of trainers together. For those looking to enhance their experience, purchasing a ticket grants access to special features, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion, making its worldwide debut after previous appearances in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.
Leading up to the main event, Ancients Recovered will run from June 23rd to June 27th, 2025. This event brings back the Legendary Titans and their elemental counterparts. Each day will feature a different five-star raid boss, with a special Raid Hour scheduled from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. daily. The schedule includes:
- June 23rd: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel
- June 24th: Regieleki
- June 25th: Regidrago
- June 26th: Regigigas
- June 27th: A grand finale with all the Legendary Titans returning
The Legendary Pokémon captured during Ancients Recovered will have exclusive moves: Regirock with Earthquake, Regice with Thunder, Registeel with Zap Cannon, Regieleki with Thunder Cage, Regidrago with Dragon Breath and Dragon Energy, and Regigigas with Crush Grip.
