Pokémon Go’s Small Yet Strong event brings your favourite tiny Pokémon to the forefront

The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is almost here! From February 5th to 8th, trainers will have a boosted chance to catch extra-small (XXS) and extra-large (XXL) Pokémon. This event also marks the debut of Shiny Nymble!

This event offers double XP for catching Pokémon, increasing your chances of encountering XXS and XXL sized Pokémon in the wild. Shiny Nymble makes its first appearance, adding to the excitement. Don't miss out on these boosted rewards!

Wild encounters will feature increased appearances of Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme) will be available in Five-Star Raids, while Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar will dominate Mega Raids. Both raid and wild encounters offer a chance at Shiny Pokémon.

Regional variations of Flabébé will also appear: Red Flower (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Blue Flower (Asia-Pacific), and Yellow Flower (Americas). White and Orange Flower Flabébé may appear anywhere.

2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. A Timed Research and Collection Challenge offer Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. Event-themed Pokémon will also appear in PokéStop Showcases. Finally, be sure to visit the Pokémon Go Web Store for supplies. Prepare for a strong start to your Pokémon catching!
