Pokémon GO Reveals May 2025 Roadmap with a Surprise!

May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, packed with a variety of thrilling events and raid opportunities. The highlight of the month is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th. This Guardian Deity of Poni Island will come equipped with the special move Nature's Madness and a chance to encounter its Shiny form.

Following Tapu Fini, the Lake Trio will make their grand return starting May 12th. Depending on your location, you'll have the chance to encounter Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

Once the Lake Trio departs, Tapu Bulu will take over the Five-Star Raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025. Like Tapu Fini, it will feature the move Nature's Madness and the possibility of encountering its Shiny variant.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust schedule. From May 1st to 12th, Mega Houndoom will be the star. Subsequently, Mega Gyarados will dominate from May 12th to 25th, followed by Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month's events begin with "Growing Up" from May 2nd to 7th, accompanied by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to 18th, players can participate in the "Crown Clash" event, which includes a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day on May 11th will feature a mystery Pokémon, keeping players on their toes. The "Crown Clash: Taken Over" event runs from May 14th to 18th, culminating in a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.

The "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will take place from May 21st to 27th, with the May Community Day Classic scheduled for May 24th. Wrapping up the month, a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day is set for May 25th, 2025.
