Announced by the developers on their official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account on March 3, 2025, this game promises to bring a fresh take on the beloved franchise.

Exclusive SEA Shock Point Test for Philippines

For those eager to get a sneak peek, Project NET has launched a beta test known as the "Shock Point Test." Announced on March 4, 2025, via the game’s official SEA Twitter (X) account, this test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will run on Android devices. It's a limited-access, non-monetized test, and all data will be wiped post-test. The Russian region will also see a Shock Point Test, with details available on their RU website. As the developers work on optimizing the game, they're gearing up for a global rollout to other countries and regions.

The registration window for the SEA Shock Point Test is open, and those who complete the recruitment questionnaire can expect confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. Test qualifications will continue to be distributed throughout the testing period, which has yet to be fully announced.

The Origins of Project NET

Sunborn Network, the creative minds behind the successful Girls’ Frontline mobile game, first unveiled Project NET on December 27, 2024. The game's initial localized test ran from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025, in SEA countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The Girls’ Frontline franchise, which debuted in 2016 as a strategy RPG gacha game, has since expanded into an anime series and other games. Its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, was released on December 5, 2024. Project NET, deeply rooted in the series, will feature familiar characters and aesthetics, much to the delight of fans.

While an official release date for Project NET remains under wraps, the game is set to launch on both iOS and Android platforms, as evidenced by the devices used in its initial test.
