The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, marking the first major international PUBG Mobile esports event of the year. With over 90,000 competitors vying for a share of the $500,000 prize pool, the Open Qualifiers, which began February 13th, offer a platform for rising stars to showcase their skills. This amateur-only tournament ensures fresh talent gets its moment in the spotlight.

Teams featuring at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Over the coming weeks, aspiring teams will clash for a coveted spot in the PMGO Prelims, where they’ll face off against the top performers from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers. Twelve teams will ultimately emerge to challenge the elite professionals in the PMGO Main Event.

The Main Event itself will take place April 12th-13th.

The Open Qualifiers run until March 2nd, followed by the Prelims on April 10th-11th. This tournament marks the beginning of a thrilling year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC also on the calendar for 2025.
