Should You Pull for Makiatto in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium? A Comprehensive Guide

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's roster is constantly expanding, leaving players with tough choices on which characters to acquire. This guide focuses on Makiatto and whether she's worth adding to your team.

Is Makiatto Worth It?

The short answer: Yes, Makiatto is a highly valuable addition to most Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium teams.

Even in the advanced stages of the CN server, Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit. Her effectiveness shines when used strategically, requiring some manual control rather than relying solely on auto-play. This is offset by her excellent synergy with Suomi, a top support character known for her Freeze abilities. Together, they form a powerful core for a Freeze-focused team. Even outside of a dedicated Freeze team, Makiatto provides significant DPS as a secondary damage dealer.

Reasons to Skip Makiatto

However, there are situations where pulling for Makiatto might not be the optimal strategy.

If you've already secured Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo through rerolling, Makiatto might offer diminishing returns. While Tololo's late-game DPS is debated (with potential future buffs rumored in the CN version), having Qiongjiu and Tololo, supported by Sharkry, already provides a strong DPS foundation. In this scenario, saving resources for future units like Vector and Klukay might be more beneficial.

Unless you urgently need a second strong DPS unit for challenging boss fights or to build a second team, Makiatto's impact will be less significant if you already possess Qiongjiu and Tololo.

Ultimately, the decision of whether to pull for Makiatto depends on your existing roster and strategic needs. Consider your current team composition and future plans before investing your resources. For more Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium insights and strategies, be sure to check out The Escapist.
