"Rauora Joins Rainbow Six Siege as New Operator"

by Aria May 02,2025

The final day of the Six Invitational is always a highlight for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft traditionally unveils exciting new content. This year, they introduced Rauora, the latest attack operator hailing from New Zealand. Rauora brings a unique gadget to the game: the DOM launcher, a bulletproof shield deployable exclusively in doorways. While it can be destroyed by explosives, it remains a formidable obstacle. The shield features a trigger mechanism that can be activated by any player, but the time it takes to open varies: attackers can open it in just one second, whereas defenders must wait three. This difference can be critical, especially in tense situations where the defuser has been planted.

In addition to her innovative gadget, Rauora introduces the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an enlarged magazine. For her primary weapons, players can choose between the powerful M249 LMG or the precise 417 marksman rifle.

Fans eager to try out Rauora can access her on the test servers starting next week. However, those playing on the live version of the game will need to wait a bit longer to experience her unique abilities and weaponry.
