Get Ready for Kingsroad Beta Launch

by Alexis Feb 11,2025

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad – Closed Beta Arrives January 15th!

Netmarble's upcoming Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, adapted from George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, will launch a closed beta on January 15th. Running until the 22nd, the beta will be available in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Android users can register now!

Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile games focusing on strategy, Kingsroad offers a third-person action-adventure experience. Players become the heir to House Tyre, embarking on a journey across Westeros, battling enemies, and building prestige.

The trailer showcases a Witcher-esque style, featuring third-person combat and exploration. Players can choose from three classes: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. While visually impressive, the true test lies in gameplay.

Beta Registration Closes January 12th! Don't miss out!

While visually appealing, Kingsroad will undoubtedly face scrutiny. Although the peak of Game of Thrones' popularity may have passed, a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a true immersive experience. Monetization strategies and long-term support will be key factors in its success. Netmarble's success hinges on delivering the experience fans crave.
