How to Respec in Avowed

Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide explains how to respec your abilities, attributes, and even your companion.

Why Respec?

Choosing the right build at the start can be tricky. Avowed allows respeccing if your initial choices don't feel right, letting you create the perfect spellsword, wizard, or any other build you desire. Later respecs can optimize your combat effectiveness.

Respeccing Abilities

To reset your ability points:

1. Open the in-game menu.
2. Navigate to the "Abilities" section.
3. At the bottom, find "Reset Points."
4. Pay the Copper Skeyt cost (starts at 100, increases later). Note that "Godlike" abilities are acquired through in-game choices and cannot be reset.

Respeccing Attributes

To reset your attribute points:

1. Open the in-game menu.
2. Go to the "Character" section.
3. At the bottom, below the attribute list, you'll find a button to reset.
4. Pay the Copper Skeyt cost (starts at 100, increases later).

Respeccing Companions

To reset your companion's abilities:

1. Open the in-game menu.
2. Go to the "Abilities" section, then the "Companions" tab.
3. Under your companion's name, find the respec button and pay the cost.
4. Repeat for each companion individually.
