Roguelite ‘Coromon: Rogue Planet’ in Development for Release on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025

by Victoria Feb 02,2025

TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to seamlessly integrate the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, creating a highly replayable monster-catching experience. The Steam page boasts 10 dynamically changing biomes, 7 unique playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its launch coincides with the Steam and Switch releases. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds particularly engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it appears to be an ideal pick-up-and-play title. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here. What are your initial thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
