by Blake Jan 18,2025

Get ready to race! Sonic Rumble, a 32-player battle royale game featuring iconic Sega characters and locations, is now open for pre-registration on Android, iOS, and PC. Developed by Rovio (the creators of Angry Birds), this marks a significant mobile venture for the beloved blue hedgehog.

Prepare for fast-paced, Fall Guys-inspired gameplay featuring familiar Sonic characters like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Rouge, Big the Cat, Metal Sonic, and even Dr. Eggman.

Pre-register now and earn rewards! Reach the 200,000 pre-registration milestone to unlock 5,000 Rings. Further milestones will yield additional rewards, culminating in an exclusive movie-themed Sonic skin.

Speed into Action

While some may question Rovio's involvement, Sonic Rumble offers a unique opportunity for the studio to showcase its capabilities beyond Angry Birds. Though the battle royale genre is established, the blend of fast-paced action, obstacle courses, and classic Sonic elements feels like a natural fit.
