Developer Blast Zero and publisher Red Dunes Games are commemorating the 35th anniversary of the beloved anime series, Samurai Pizza Cats, with a brand-new video game: Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast From the Past. This 2D action-RPG is currently in development for all major platforms.

The announcement trailer showcases the return of several original English voice actors, including Rick Jones (Cerviche), Sonja Ball (Polly Esther), Terrence Scammell (Guido Anchovy and Narrator), and Dean Hagopian (Seymour "The Big" Cheese). Gameplay footage reveals a dynamic adventure set in Little Tokyo, where players will control the Samurai Pizza Cats, switching between characters to leverage their unique abilities in combat and puzzle-solving.
