Sky: Children of the Light Celebrates 6th Anniversary with Creator Awards

Sky: Children of the Light will celebrate its sixth anniversary with a special in-game awards ceremony honoring community creators. Ten distinct awards will recognize outstanding contributions from players.

As part of the festivities, Aviary Village will undergo a transformation into an anniversary celebration space. The event sparks an interesting conversation about content creators' role in gaming - often underappreciated yet vital to a game's success.

Anniversary Celebration Details

The anniversary events begin July 7th with Aviary Village converting into an interactive playground. Players can enjoy swimming areas, dance spaces, and parade routes throughout the decorated village.

An in-game cinema will continuously stream special programming, including developer messages and exclusive behind-the-scenes content leading up to the main event.

Awards Ceremony Highlights

The formal awards show takes place August 15th at 6 PM Pacific Time in the village cinema, designed to accommodate hundreds of simultaneous attendees. Thatgamecompany developers will present awards across ten competitive categories.
