Fans of the adult animated sitcom *Solar Opposites* will have to brace themselves for the end, as Hulu has officially announced that the upcoming sixth season will be the show's last. The final season is slated to premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025, marking the conclusion of the series that began in 2020.
The renewal for Season 6 was announced in mid-2024, but it wasn't until now that it was revealed this would also be the show's swan song. *Solar Opposites* follows the quirky adventures of an alien family stranded on Earth after their home planet's destruction. The series was brought to life by the creative minds of *Star Trek: Lower Decks* creator Mike McMahan and *Rick & Morty* co-creator Justin Roiland.
In 2023, the show faced a significant change when Justin Roiland was removed following charges of domestic violence, which were later dropped. English actor Dan Stevens stepped in to replace Roiland as the lead voice actor, ensuring the show could continue its journey to the end.
