Sonic Games Get Pre-Sonic 3 Updates

Sega celebrates the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with exciting updates across its mobile Sonic game lineup. These updates, inspired by the new film, will roll out across Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash.

First up, on December 12th, Sonic Forces receives a brand new Metro-city Zone featuring three challenging tracks playable as Movie Sonic, Movie Shadow, and other familiar characters. This content directly links to the film, making it a must-play before seeing the movie.

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team (Apple Arcade) adds Shadow as a playable character with unique abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, allowing time manipulation to overcome obstacles. Unlock Shadow by completing Tails' Challenges. The update also includes new powers (Quick Grind, Perfect Boost) for all characters, exclusive Shadow upgrades (like Double Chaos Shift), six Shadow-themed statues, new music tracks, and a revamped tutorial.

Lastly, Sonic Dash gets its update on December 20th, allowing players to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer extra rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
