Sonic Rumble's Pre-Release Event Features Monkey Ball, Altered Beast

While the worldwide release of Sonic Rumble is still on the horizon, set for May 8th, the excitement is already building with a pre-release crossover event that promises to bring together some of Sega's most iconic characters. This isn't just any crossover; it's a celebration of Sega's rich gaming history, featuring stars from past and present!

This unique event is kicking off before the game's global launch, and it's available to those in regions where Sonic Rumble is currently in soft launch. From now until May 7th, you have the chance to claim the Werewolf character, inspired by the classic game Altered Beast, absolutely free.

For those who subscribe to the Sega Star Event Pass, there's even more to look forward to. You'll unlock access to the Weredragon, another character from Altered Beast, and Opa-Opa, the beloved first mascot from the arcade hit Fantasy Zone.

But that's not all! The in-game Ring Shop will feature additional characters such as Upa-Upa and the Werebear. Meanwhile, the Red Star Ring Shop will offer characters from Super Monkey Ball, including AiAi and MeeMee, for purchase.
