With the new year just around the corner, GSC Game World has shared its plans and promises for the future of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. The developer is committed to ongoing improvements for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, recently releasing a significant patch (1.1) addressing over 1800 bugs. While new content is still in the works, a detailed roadmap outlining future additions is anticipated in early 2025.

Fans of the original trilogy also have reason to celebrate. A next-generation patch is in development for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone collection on consoles, bringing enhanced visuals and performance. Further updates are planned for PC versions, promising modern improvements to these classic titles.
